How I Started and My Family History

​

I have been raised in a house where everything was around art, since my mother is an artist, as well as her mother- They both paint landscapes and portraits of people from Jerusalem. 

Besides being a great mother and a wonderful grandmother, they were my art teachers, training me since I was 3 years old how to paint figurative and abstract art, and showing me the correct shadows, lights, and other techniques in every painting.

Moreover, when I was 8 years old I got my first computer, along with an early 90's design software, that I became addicted to. 

​

What seems to be a "graphic addiction", rapidly developed to gaming addiction, with  early 90's games like "Keen" and "Dave" that became my favorites.

​

I always painted, illustrated and designed in parallel, along side my "gaming career" (with a lot of simulation games like "Simcity" and etc.), and started to study animation in high school, when I was 16.

My Academic Studies

​

At the age of 22 I studied animation in the Open University of Israel, right after filling my army duty service, and got my animation diploma, mastering in 3D animation and modeling. 

​

At the age of 24 (2007) I studied Music and Literature at Bar-Illan University, and earned my BA in 2011. 

​

Music has always inspired my paintings, hence it seems to me like one piece, inseparable. That's why I decided to go on with music, believing it's just as important as design studies, and in 2013 I continued to MA program in Music, also in Bar-Illan. 

​

In 2018 I studied UI/UX in Musrara- school pf art in Jerusalem, a program which gave me a lot of knowledge about the contemporary design, building more effective user experiences in my works.

Exhibitions 

​

2013- "Music and Tech Student's Exhibition" at Hateiva, Tel-Aviv Jaffa. I created an interactive room, where paintings and displays playing voices and music when lighting on one of them with a flashlight. 

​

2016- "Bread and Roses 2016" at Artists Workshop Gallery, Tel-aviv. I presented 3 my oil paintings, along with famous artist from all over Israel, like Sigalit Landau, and Igael Tumarkin.  

​

2017- "Bread and Roses 2017" at Artists Workshop Gallery, Tel-aviv. 

​

2020- "Queer in Town" at Tamar Gallery, Rehovot, representing a triptych of oil on canvas, along with other artists from Rehovot. 

​
